Google Fiber + Indianapolis

Some of you may have noticed Google's new venture. Well, some of us in the community are banding together to convince the local government and Google to bring the service to Indy.

Fiber4Indy is the home of the local initiative and I encourage you to visit the site and sign the petition or even get involved in some way. Our current goal is to produce a media presentation to convince the local government.

I would like to say how important and beneficial this would be for the city, which is already a major hub for the national infrastructure. By being able to offer low cost, high speed, fiber internet access, businesses and content providers would be drawn to the city. Residents would also benefit by being connected at speeds never before possible.

I am very excited to be working toward this goal and I believe that, with help from the community, that we can achieve this goal and bring Google Fiber to Indy!
